Dan Keefe
Dan is a 27-year old queer white cis-guy. He started working with Out Now in October 2011 as a Resource Developer. For those of you not in the development world, ‘resource developer’ is just a fancy word for fundraiser. Much to his delight, Dan has also had the opportunity to help with a number of other projects, from Theatre of the Oppressed workshops to helping build local grassroots campaigns in Springfield.
Prior to working at Out Now, Dan worked on a variety of grassroots campaigns, most significantly as Northeast Regional Coordinator with the Campus Anti-War Network, Outreach Coordinator with the Campaign for Justice for Jason Vassell, and Regional Campaign Organizer with Corporate Accountability International. He has also worked on such issues as marriage equality, prison abolition, anti-oppression, and youth empowerment, among others.
Dan is proud to be working with such an inspiring and dynamic staff at Out Now, and is utterly thrilled to play a role in Out Now’s growth over the next few years.
